We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy aims to be fair to our customers while recognising the costs involved in preparing, transporting and setting up your glamping experience.

1. Customer Cancellations

If you need to cancel your glamping booking, please notify The Glamping Nomad in writing as soon as possible.

  • The following cancellation terms apply:

    • 80% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 30 day(s) before arrival or earlier.

    • 50% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 20 day(s) before arrival or earlier.

    • 10% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 10 day(s) before arrival or earlier.

    • 0% refundable if canceled after.

  • Security deposit policy

    A pre-authorization of AUD 100 is held on 1 day(s) before arrival and voided on 2 day(s) after departure

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method wherever possible.

2. Changes to Your Booking

Requests to change your booking dates are subject to availability. Please contact us as early as possible if you need to make a change.

Any additional costs resulting from changes to your booking may be payable. Changes are not guaranteed, particularly during weekends, school holidays and peak periods.

3. Severe Weather and Unforeseen Circumstances

Glamping is an outdoor experience, and tents may be affected by rain, wind and changing temperatures.

Bookings will generally proceed in ordinary seasonal weather conditions. If severe weather or an official warning makes the setup or use of the tents unsafe, The Glamping Nomad will contact you to discuss available options.

Where The Glamping Nomad must cancel a booking because it is unsafe or cannot reasonably provide the agreed service, an appropriate refund or alternative arrangement will be offered in accordance with applicable Australian Consumer Law.

4. National Parks Camping Fees

Glamping tent hire fees are separate from campsite booking fees payable to NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS).

Customers are responsible for making and paying for their own campsite booking for the same dates as their glamping reservation.

Any cancellation or refund of National Parks camping fees is subject to the separate NPWS booking terms and conditions. A refund from The Glamping Nomad does not automatically cancel or refund your campsite booking.

5. Group Bookings, Weddings and Special Events

Separate cancellation terms may apply to group bookings, weddings and special events, particularly where significant equipment, transport, labour or customised arrangements are involved.

Any specific cancellation terms will be provided and agreed upon in writing at the time of booking.

6. Cancellations by The Glamping Nomad

In the unlikely event that The Glamping Nomad needs to cancel your booking, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer an appropriate refund or alternative arrangement, subject to applicable Australian Consumer Law.
